Biography
Mohsen Namazi was a 19-year-old killed by direct gunfire from security forces in the Baharan Square area of Tehran's District 17 on January 8, 2026. He was reportedly shot three times during the protests. Following his death, authorities pressured his family and refused permission for a burial in Tehran, leading to his interment in Jolfa near the Armenian border.
محسن نمازی جوان ۱۹ سالهای بود که در ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات منطقه ۱۷ تهران (میدان بهاران) با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی جان باخت. گزارش شده است که او هدف سه گلوله قرار گرفته است. پس از کشته شدن، نهادهای امنیتی با اخذ تعهد از خانواده مانع دفن او در تهران شدند و پیکر او به اجبار در شهر جلفا، در نزدیکی مرز ارمنستان، به خاک سپرده شد.
